The Foundation Board of Directors is a regional group of 17 civic-minded volunteers with varied backgrounds who bring a wide range of experience and expertise to the table. Quarterly meetings are held to conduct Foundation business. The Foundation Board’s primary functions include:
- Educating and involving the public with regard to the purpose and mission of the Foundation and Medical Center, creating a regional awareness of philanthropic opportunities;
- Spearheading fundraising events and campaigns, as well as special projects to assist area not-for-profit organizations;
- Implementing various types of giving programs; and Overseeing and appropriating Foundation funds, unless otherwise restricted.
