Financial Assistance

Cameron Regional Medical Center Financial Assistance

Notice of Financial Assistance Policy (Plain Language Summary)

Financial Assistance Available

Cameron Regional Medical Center (CRMC) offers financial assistance through a policy that provides discounts on billed charges for emergency and other medically necessary care. This assistance is available to eligible patients who meet specific criteria.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for financial assistance, you must submit a completed Application for Financial Assistance. Eligibility is determined based on factors such as family income (using Federal Poverty Level guidelines), net worth, employment status, other financial obligations, the amount and frequency of medical bills, and your effort to pay.

How to Apply

If you have financial concerns, you or anyone involved in your care—such as a family member or provider—can raise these concerns at any time during your care. You will then be encouraged to fill out a financial assistance application.

Payment Limits

If you qualify for financial assistance, you will not be required to pay more for emergency or medically necessary care than the amount generally billed to insured individuals.
